BE A 2023 STEUBENVILLE YOUTH CHAMPION!

The teens of  Holy Spirit & St. Joseph's Church have the opportunity to attend a Steubenville Summer Youth Conference on Franciscan University's Main Campus in Steubenville, OH! We are planning to go the weekend of July 7-9, 2023! Registration opens on December 6th, and in order to secure our weekend, we need to have a count by then!

If you will be a 9th-12th Grader in Fall 2023 or will be a 2024 High School Graduate, then please consider taking advantage of this opportunity! The Steubenville Conferences are absolutely outstanding and life-changing. The teens and adults who attended last summer had a really, really great time. We grew in our faith, had a lot of fun, and grew closer in community.

Please know that you do not have to be a member of Youth Group to attend the conference!

We will be fundraising as a conference group... however, we do need a $100 deposit by Sunday, January 15th if you would like to attend the conference the weekend of July 7-9. This deposit is for both the conference itself and the bus transportation. Please note that after we make the reservation on 1/25, the deposit is unfortunately non-refundable. The total cost of the trip (transportation and food at the conference included) will be about $350 per teen. (The cost may fluctuate depending on how many teens would like to come and how much we fundraise.) Our goal in fundraising is to subtract about $100-$150 off of each teen's cost to attend. Of course, please do not let cost be a deterrent! If you would like financial assistance, please let Fr. Sadhanala know.

Deposits can be turned in at the Youth Group or can be brought or mailed to the parish office on or before 1/15. Please make checks payable to "St. Joseph's Catholic Church" and write "2023 Steubenville Youth Conference" on the memo line.

Adult chaperones are needed as well, both men and women! Please let Fr. Sadhanala know if you are interested! Chaperones do not need to turn in a deposit. We will need at least one adult, but no more than two, for every ten teens of each gender. Chaperones must be 21 or older. Please note that parents of teens attending the conference will be given first preference as chaperones.

Please let Fr. Sadhanala know if you would like to attend on July 7-9 and turn in your $100 deposit no later than Monday, January 23rd. That way we will be able to register the group on Tuesday, January 24th at 8 AM. Thank You!!!
